Tikkun Olam Makers- TOM

Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM) is an Israeli-global nonprofit initiative, dedicated to creating a more inclusive world – where innovation and technology empower people everywhere to access affordable solutions tailored to their needs.

TOM improves the life of diverse communities, including people with disabilities, wounded veterans, and older adults, by developing practical, accessible solutions designed with and for them. All solutions are shared as open-source on TOM's global platform (Tomglobal.org) enabling anyone, anywhere, to produce and use them at minimal cost.

In partnership with the Maccabiah, TOM is working to expand access to sport and physical activity for people with disabilities - helping them train, compete, and pursue their dreams. Together with MWU, TOM is developing a unique collection of practical solutions, named in honor of Professor Sir Ludwig Guttmann, the visionary founder of the Paralympic movement, designed to remove barriers to participation. The collection will be showcased during the Maccabiah Games and shared openly through TOM’s global platform - ensuring these solutions can reach communities around the world.
